Lion Politics
This is what happens when lion politics go wrong. Two big males from the east cam and took over the territory and later forcing this young male to develop some terrestrial habits after watching its own brother being mercilessly mauled to death by the victors.
Lions in the delta can climb but only do it for fun and vantage points when hunting. This is not always done since they often end up in awkward positions when coming down.
This nearly one year old cub started climbing trees so that he could locate the males from far and head off in a different direction without being detected. The males were hunting them down for days but this young males managed to escape without being harmed.
We named him Climber for his skill and cunning wit of survival. Here I believed that you dont just have to be fit to survive in the jungle but you have to be smart also.
